- Oh Bob, 80% of the stimulus went to Obama benefactors? How is that, when much of it was sent to local governments (like Texas, where Gov. Perry used it to balance his budget, not create jobs)? I can list numerous examples of Republican requests for stimulus monies for projects in their home states.

- Interesting. I wonder if anyone can explain a video I saw recently of McCain taking questions at one of his town hall meetings during, I believe, the 2000 election in Ohio (Joe the so-called Plumber's current home state, no less).

Very well said HMike - I live in Rapid City (20 mins from Sturgis) and am really sorry that I did not get to attend John McCain's appearance at the Buffalo Chip - I am very supportive of McCain, but am concerned about who he might choose for a Veep. It would be wonderful if he chose Senator Thune!! I supported Thune and his campaign to win over Dashcle (and it couldn't have come sooner!) Thanks
